Below are the details of what will be contained in Beth’s “Boo Box”. All of these wines were selected by Beth Witten, Ward 3 Auburn City Council Representative, Auburn Mayor Pro Tem, owner of Blue Turtle Creative, and fellow food & wine enthusiast!
Each case (12 bottles; 3 of each selection) is $185 + tax. Payment is due at pick up.
**If you want to just order 1 bottle of each selection (4 total) cost would be $70 + tax. Please indicate in your request if want to go with this option. **
These wines will be featured by the glass at Well Red in Auburn starting Wednesday, October 21st. We will also be having a tasting at Well Red on the evening of the 21st. Watch our social media outlets for updates!
Orders for this box are due by NOON, October 29th, with pickup the following day, October 30th at Cigar and Fine Spirits in Moores Mill. Just in time for Halloween!
3 Bottles of Lampo Brut Prosecco by Borgoluce
This sparkler from Italy stands out for it’s fine perlage and brilliant, yellow color. Lampo is a young, fresh sparkling wine with an elegant taste and well-orchestrated aromas. This wine is an ideal aperitif and toast for all special occasions!
3 Bottles of 2019 Domaine Uby No.3
This white blend of Colombard and Sauvignon Blanc out of Gascony, France is vivid and aromatic. It has a pretty intense nose of citrus and white peach. The fresh and round attack opens on the palate with lemony notes. It has great acid, balance, and a very nice, lengthy finish.
3 Bottles of Randolph’s Red ‘First Edition’
This red blend out of the Columbia Valley in Washington is comprised of 58.5% Merlot, 39% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2.5% Syrah. It is made by Four Feathers Wine Estates, a state of the art, family owned winery operating since the mid 1990’s. This wine is red-fruit-forward, with hints of cocoa and tea.
3 Bottles of 2018 Zin Collective Zinfandel
Zin Collective is a labor of love for winemaker Jamey Whetstone. After spending his formative years in the wine business working for none other than Turley, he has become a passionate advocate for sustainable viticulture and a style of Zin that is fresh, brambly and balanced. As the name suggests, Zin Collective is sourced from like-minded vineyards scattered along the North Coast with a few choice sites in Lodi as well.
