We are excited to announce this month’s collaboration, Hope Nunnelley, blogger and self-proclaimed sommelier wannabe! Hope is the creative force behind a blog that we love to follow on Instagram, @livingandlocal! She is a native of Texas and relocated to Auburn in 2018. She quickly became a local, familiar face as she immersed herself into the community highlighting all the great things we have to offer via her Living And Local blog.
We first met Hope and her hubby at the opening of a new local restaurant. She was taking pictures of food the way we do, so of course we had to meet! Also, if you follow her, you will learn quickly she is an avid fan of vino! Fun Fact: She originally wanted to honeymoon in Argentina to explore the wine region. A girl after our heart. She likes more acidic, dry wines and anything bold and unique.
Travel with us and Hope as we explore wines from Spain, Austria, France, and Italy! Read tasting notes below and use the ORDER NOW button below!

Each case (12 bottles; 3 of each selection) is $190 + tax. 1 bottle of each selection (4 total) cost would be $75 + tax.

3 Bottles of 2020 Nosis Verdejo

This dry white wine from the village of Rueda in Northwestern Spain is a gem! The Verdejo grapes are grown on vines that average around 35 years old on terraces overlooking the Duero River. This wine is fresh and fruity. It is intense and complex on the nose and palate with notes of tropical fruit and freshly cut grass. This wine shows incredible balance between fruit and acid.
3 Bottles of 2020 Pannonica Rose

This delightful rose from Burgenland in Eastern Austria contains most people have never heard of!! It is comprised of 40% Pinot Noir, which we are all familiar, and 35% St. Laurent, and 25% Blaufrankisch. It is fresh, poppy, fruity, and totally crushable. It shows aromas and flavors of fresh red berries, melon, and citrus. It is truly the perfect pairing for a warm Summer afternoon!!!
3 Bottles of 2019 Henry Fessy Beaujolais Villages ‘Vieilles Vignes’

This light, yet complex, red out of Beaujolais in Burgundy, France is comprised of 100% Gamay. To be clear, the is not the Beaujolais Noveau your grandparents would buy for Thanksgiving!!! This estate has been making Beaujolais of the highest quality since 1888. The nose reveals rich aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and black currant. It has a beautiful length on the palate with red and black fruits notes that give way to a pleasant earthiness. This wine has a very nice balance of fruit, acid, and soft tannins.
3 Bottles of 2019 Grale Rosso

Grale from Le Grascete is red blend out of Tuscany, or “Super Tuscan” if you will. It drinks far outside of it’s price point!! It is a blend of 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Sangiovese, and 32% Merlot. This is an elegant and balanced wine with a full body, soft tannins, notes of earth, and it has a long fruit forward finish.
