3 Bottles of Pine Ridge Vineyards Sparkling Chenin Blanc/Viognier NV
This inaugural sparkling offering from Pine Ridge Vineyards out of Napa Valley’s renowned Stag’s Leap District is brand new, fresh, and ready to drink!!! It is crisp, bright, and vivacious. This sparkler is an aromatic wine boasting a bouquet of pear, green apple, and honeydew melon complemented by lime, nectarine, lemongrass, and apricot. The entry is bright and fresh, exhibiting flavors of green apples, lemon, lime, and lychee. The wine has beautifully balanced, crisp acidity, with a refreshing and slightly creamy note on the midpalate. The fine bubbles lift the aromas and flavors and carry them to the finish.
3 Bottles of Bonnet-Huteau Nuit Boreale Brut NV
This sparkling wine out of the Loire Valley in France is made in the traditional method and is a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Melon de Bourgogne. The nose shows aromas of apple, pear and delicate notes of bread. The bubbles are small and plentiful. It shows finesse, is light on the palate, shows impeccable balance, and finishes with a touch of salinity.
3 Bottles of Agarena Cava Brut NV
This sparkler from Spain is made from 100% Macabeo in the Traditional Method. It is dry in style with fine bubbles and a pale yellow color. It is clean and crisp with floral notes, flavors of apple and pear, and a refreshing acidity.
3 Bottles of Belstar Cuvée Rosé NV
This sparkling wine from Prosecco producer Bisol out of Veneto, Italy is a blend of of Merlot, Pinot Nero and Sauvignon Blanc. The congenial blend of the three grape varieties culminates in an elegant Cuvée Rosé that harks back to the good old days of ‘Bel Star,’ a term meaning a good place to stay in the local dialect, typical of the 1950’s. The sugar content is pleasantly unique on the palate and the south facing vineyards contribute to a better ripening of the grape clusters, releasing the bouquet of delicious fruity and floral aromas that reawaken in the glass showing notes of citrus, melon, and ripe strawberries.
