“Nonet Knows”

We are excited to announce this month’s collaboration, “Nonet Knows”! We partnered with fellow Auburn wine enthusiast, Nonet Reese! Nonet is an Auburn entrepreneur and co-founder of Three Sixty, a family of companies. She has over 20 years of experience in real estate and has a passion for making a difference in the community. Nonet also loves wine like us. She grew up with an appreciation for wine and has always found it enjoyable, with her taste evolving over the years. “Nonet Knows” good wine!

Our “Wino in Charge,” John Mark Davis, spoke with Nonet and put together varieties from around the world that fit her flavor profile.

3 Bottles of Bailly Lapierre Cremant de Bourgogne Reserve Brut NV

This sparkling wine out of Burgundy, France is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and a little bit of Aligote and Gamay. It is dry, crisp, and refreshing with notes of apple, citrus, and toast. It finishes with a vibrant acidity.

3 Bottles of 2019 Les Hauts Plateaux Rose

This rose out of Provence is 40% Syrah, 40% Grenache, and 20% Cinsault. It is salmon in color and possesses great intensity on the nose with aromas of red berries and  a scent of violets. While supple in texture, it is very easy to drink.

3 Bottles of 2018 Albert Bichot Macon Villages

This Chardonnay from famed Burgundy producer Albert Bichot is from the Maconnais region in southern Burgundy. The nose is very fragrant with floral notes on a mineralic background. The palate, like the nose, shows white flowers, lemon, and the benchmark minerality of a white Burgundy.

3 Bottles of 2018 Head High Pinot Noir

2018 was a great vintage for Sonoma. The Spring was mild and Fall started to cool things off around Labor Day. This led to a full crop of grapes with superb quality. This enabled the Price family to produce wines with true depth and power under their Three Sticks and Head High labels. This wine starts with bold, ripe fruit before settling into a smooth and stylish wine with a bright acidity that is supported by gentle wood smoke notes from 10 months aging in new French oak barrels.
