Scharffenberger Brut Excellence NV The history of Scharffenberger Cellars begins in 1981 in the village of Philo, in the heart of California’s Anderson Valley. This beautiful artisan winery surrounded by spectacular vineyards is situated only miles from the Pacific Coast. It enjoys the sunshine of the protected valley and the cool fog from the ocean; the ideal scenario for producing a highly rated sparkling wine, among the best in America. This wine is 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir. This wine has a lovely richness and a toasted brioche character along with bright apple, citrus, and yellow stone-fruit flavors. The wine’s midpalate is creamy, its finish lingering and fresh. A perfect way to start any holiday celebration!!!

2021 Domaine Dupeuble Beaujolais Rose – In the hamlet of Le Breuil, deep in the southern Beaujolais and perched above a narrow creek, the Domaine Dupeuble has been running almost continuously since 1512. This lovely rose from Kermit Lynch should not be mistaken for a basic bottle of wine. Sure, it is supremely thirst-quenching, as any self-respecting rosé should be, and it is darn fun to drink—we are talking about Beaujolais, after all. But consider that the Gamay vines here are up to seventy years old, and they grow in an intricate mix of granite, clay, and sandy soils. The outcome is a wine of real substance, with an extra dimension of depth along with an array of delightful flavors and textures. This juicy rose is crisp and fresh on the nose with red fruit and white flowers leading to a delicate round mouthfeel of pomegranate and cranberry flavors. A lovely pairing for the Thanksgiving table!!!

2020 Division-Villages ‘Beton’ Red Blend -This winery is based out Portland, Oregon. Villages wines are a mainstay at the dinner table throughout France. Their pure deliciousness and accessibility are the inspiration for the Division-Villages wines. Beton, meaning concrete in French, names this wine for the distinct concrete vessels in which it is made. This wine is comprised of 46% Cabernet Franc, 22% Cot (Malbec), 13% Gamay, 11% Pinot Noir, and 8% Cabernet Franc. This wine is deliciously peppery and fruit laden. The aromatics are clearly Cabernet Franc with violet floral overtones, graphite and ripe red raspberry. The pallet is juicy, clean, fruity, but balanced with Cab Franc notes of peppers, ripe berries and exotic spices. It is elegant and focused with earthy, mineral notes, contrasting with the red berry fruits for this very tasty vintage! A lovely red that with pair with all the things on your holiday spread!!

2020 Juggernaut Hillside Cabernet Sauvignon  – Steep hillside vineyards present the ultimate challenge. Mountainous terrain tests both the grower and the vine, but the results can be extraordinary. Hillside vineyards have less access to water, with the rockier soil also holding fewer nutrients. These conditions stress the vines, resulting in the production of a fraction of the fruit of most vineyards. The harsh environment causes the vines to struggle, yielding fewer clusters and smaller berry size. Since most of the flavor resides in the grape skins, the result is berries that are loaded with rich, ripe, intensely concentrated flavors and complexity. Hillside vineyards are special. So is the wine that is crafted from them. This California Cabernet ha purity, intensity and seamless structure. French oak beautifully transforms intense mountain fruit into a wine with uncommon richness, yet smooth and luxurious texture. Juggernaut Hillside Cabernet is a huge, rich, opulent wine with complex flavors of chocolate, coffee, blackberries, cassis, mint, and velvety tannins.
